RULES AND REGULATIONS OF

GRIFFIN GATE OWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.

(A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION)

In accordance with the provisions of ARTICLE 6.1.3 the GRIFFIN GATE OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION, INC. BYLAWS:

  1. All fencing between properties shall be vinyl fencing consistent in color with the existing border fencing of the subdivision.  Gates may be vinyl or wrought iron.
  2. Residents are encouraged to celebrate the various holidays during the year with appropriate outdoor decorations.  All outdoor decorations shall be removed no later than two weeks after the event, weather permitting.
  3. The City of Oklahoma City has provided each resident with two receptacles for trash removal.  These receptacles shall be used for all refuse, other than on bulk trash day.  Residents shall not allow any loose trash or other refuse to be present on their properties at any time and shall keep receptacles along the side of their home behind the fence or within an enclosure, or inside their garage.
  4. In addition to the provisions of Article 7.12 of the Griffin Park Owners Association Covenants, parking of vehicles on the Griffin Gate street for a continuous period of more than 48 hours is prohibited.  Any vehicle parked on the street shall not block mailboxes or neighbors’ driveways at any time.
  5. Outdoor clothes lines are prohibited.
  6. Skateboard ramps are prohibited.
  7. Residents shall be charged a fee for the replacement of, or the request for additional gate openers.
  8. If the need arises for emergency assistance, (i.e., EMT, Police or Fire), residents are encouraged to supply their individual gate code to the responding agency. If they do not and the agency unlocks the gate, resulting in a relocking fee, then the resident will be responsible for the fee.
  9. Non-payment of HOA dues shall result in the suspension of all services provided by the Association until the dues are paid in full.
  10. Residents are encouraged to participate in the Griffin Park Neighborhood Garage Sale and are allowed to have one extra garage sale when they are moving from Griffin Gate.
  11. In addition to the provisions of Article 7.2 of the Griffin Park Owners Association Covenants, regarding Use of Lots, any lease or rental of a single-family residence must be no less than one (1) year in duration. 
  12. Residents are encouraged to have visitors, contractors, repairmen, etc., gain access into Griffin Gate by utilizing the call box, rather than giving out their security code. When the visitor calls your home from the gate, press “9” on your phone and that will activate the gate.

These Rules and Regulations will be enforced in accordance with the provisions of Article 8.1 of the Griffin Park Covenants.
